Burial was in Colorado City Cemetery, diected by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr Burson died Monday evening at his home here after an apparent heart attack.
Born Aug 24, 1916 in Earth, [sic] Mr. Burson was a World War II veteran. He married Ellon Perryman Jun 17, 1944 in Hondo, and they moved to Colorado City in 1957.
He was a member of First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Mr. Burson was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Lions Club, the Order of Eastern Star and the American Heart Assn.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Mike of Houston and Tim of Lubbock; a stepmother, Mrs. Alvie Burson; a sister, Mrs. Velma B. Patton of Ennis; three stepbrothers, Junior Brant, Wesley Brant and Bob Brant; and three grandchildren.
