Marion Daniel Cook, Sr., 82, of El Paso died Saturday, June 7, 1986. He had been a resident of El Paso for 62 years and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He was employed by The El Paso Electric Co. Transportation Dept. 18 years and was owner and operator of Cooks Dairy for many years. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #1111 AF & Am, the Scottish Rite Bodies, El Maida Shrine and the Woodbine Chapter Eastern Star. He is survived by his wife, Wilda Cook, El Paso, Son Dan and wife, La Juan, Las Cruces, NM, niece, Joan and husband Don Barrett and their two sons, David and Ted all of California, sister, Ellen Kent of Clever, Missouri, brother, Russell R. Cook, Canton, Ill., brother-in-law Chat Cadenhead, Las Cruces, NM, niece, Dorothy McKinney, El Paso, many other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 12 noon to 9PM Monday at Futrell Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1PM Tuesday at Grace United Methodist Church with Pastor Guy Pearce officiating. Interment in Evergreen East Cemetery. Masonic graveside services will be conducted by Masonic Lodge #1111 AF & AM. Pallbearers will be Masonic Brothers. Honorary pallbearers, James Bishop, Glen Harkins, Johnny Lane, Harry Maurey, John Segulia, Henry Stallings, Mel Stephens, Champ Turner Sr, Champ Turner Jr, Irby Abe Martin, Fred A Gerk Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Society of El Paso, American Cancer Assn or American Heart Assn.
