Mrs. Emil Pearson, 66 died tuesday at St. Francis hospital in Grand Island. The deceased had been in ill heath for the past 10 years. complications developed and she was taken to the hospital Sunday, death came late Tuesday afternoon.

LuLu Ann McFarland daughter of James William McFarland and Alye Ann Kimple was born Nov. 30, 1880 at Campbell, Nebr. She was united in marriage to Emil Pearson Nov. 7 1900 at Grand Island. Eight children were born to this union, Clair (deceased) Thea Cox, Chicago Illinois, Malcom (Mick) Sidney Neb, Violet Bourge, Colorado Springs Co. Leona Shurigar, Rawlins Wyoming, Loretta Witt, Kenesaw Neb. Cecil Pearson of Shelton Neb. and Elmer (Pick) of Wood River.

She also leaves to mourn her loss, 10 grandchildren, two sisters Mrs. Elizabeth (Lizzie) Fitzgerald, Sacramento Calif and Mrs. Lauretta (Etta) Gillette, Rapid City S. D. and one brother Fred McFarland of Salt Lake City Utah, she was preceded in death by two brothers, George W and Charles Howard both died in 1918 of the flu epidemic, sister Jessie Coryell died in 1934.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p. m. from the Presbyterian church with Rev. Keith Delap officiating.
Burial will be in Wood River cemetery.
