Kenneth James Granda, 76, passed away Monday, February 26, 2001 at St. John's Hospital.

He was born February 28, 1924 the son of Albert Leo and Susan Marie Kennedy Granda Sr. in Macomb, IL.

Mr. Granda graduated from Macomb High School. He served in the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman during WWII in Australia working for General Douglas MacArthur. He retired as a meter reader for City, Water, light and Power after 40 years. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Louis, William and Albert Granda Jr.; two sisters: Marcella and Madelyn Granda.

He is survived by one sister: Norma (husband, Myles) Kennedy of Springfield; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home from 9-10:00 a.m., Friday, March 2, 2001. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Reverend Bill Kessler officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Cemetery in Macomb, IL.
