Mr. Broglia had retired as a coal miner from Republic Steel, Russellton, where he had been employed for 39 years.
He was a member of St Michaels Roman Catholic Church, United Mine Workers Local 115, and the Italian sons and daughters of America lodge in Russellton.
Born in Yukon, PA, Feb. 14, 1911, he was the son of Domenick and Marcella Fieata Broglia.
His wife, Lucy Leroy Broglia, died Aug. 25, 1985.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Marcella) Rubinosky, of Erie; a brother, Peter Broglia of Virginia; and three grandchildren.
Five brothers preceded him in death.
Burial will be in St. Michaels Cemetary, Butler.
