He was a member of Florida Cicerones, Florida Blue Key Leadership Society, Interfraternity Council and Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He received his bachelor's and juris doctor degrees from the University of Florida. He was a member of the University of Florida Law Review, serving as a board member and a member of the Judicial Committee.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Schlitt Malone; son, Jackson Malone of Vero Beach; daughter, Mary Kathryn Malone of Vero Beach; parents, C. Stephen and Judy Malone of Panama City Beach; maternal grandmother, Irene Hendrix of Rockmart, GA.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles S. Hendrix, and his paternal grandparents, Curtis L. and Agnes G. Malone.

PANAMA CITY BEACH — A Vero Beach attorney was killed by a hit-and-run driver early Saturday morning while he was bicycle riding and helping his wife train for the New York City marathon.
Clint S. Malone, 33, was struck from behind by a maroon pickup truck or SUV about 6 a.m. Saturday, according to a Panama City Beach police report. Authorities also are looking for a white SUV that may have been involved in the accident.
Malone and his wife, Jennifer, were visiting his parents, C. Stephen and Judy Malone, who live in Panama City Beach.
Jennifer Malone was running along South Thomas Drive, training for the upcoming marathon, and Clint Malone was riding behind her.
