BUCHHOLZ Christopher "Chris" P. Buchholz, 27, of Spring Hill, passed away Friday, October 12, 2007 in Olathe. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 17 at Bruce Funeral Home, 712 S. Webster, Spring Hill, 913-592-2244. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, October 16 at the funeral home. Burial at Gardner Cemetery, Gardner, Kan. The family request casual attire. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Chris Buchholz Memorial Fund
Chris was born April 7, 1980 in Kansas City, Kan., to Steven Eugene and Diana Lynn (Batchman) Buchholz. He was a lifelong area resident. Chris was previously a technician for Jiffy Lube in Olathe. He was a member of Evangelistic Center Church of Olathe. Chris loved his family, enjoyed his cars and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his mother Diana Tobias, Becker, Minn., his father Steven and step-mom Alexandra Buchholz, Spring Hill; sister Linda (Kendall Smith) Buchholz, Olathe, step-sisters and brothers Carrie Vincent, Topeka, Goeffrey Vincent, Spring Hill, Brad Vincent, Pollock, Va., Bridgette Buchholz, Spring Hill; grandparents Thurman and Carole Buchholz, Spring Hill; Duane and Shirley Batchman, Estes Park, Colo.; and a new niece Kayla Smith.
