Betty Cox - Peacefully surrounded by her family, after a long battle, on November 5th, 2016, Betty Cox passed away at University Hospital at the age of 69. Predeceased by her husband Alan Paterson. Loving mother to Jamie (Renea) Cox and Jon (Christa) Cox. Stepmother of Penny (Dan), Cindy (George) and Heather (Stan). Proud grandma to 13 grandchildren. Survived by her sister Bonnie (Jim) Bibb and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents James and Verna McCallum and siblings Sallee and John. Betty loved having all of her family together and she will be missed by all of them. Thanks to staff at Mount Hope 5th floor and 4th floor University Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Lillian Barra, Rheumatology, St. Joseph's Health Care. Cremation with interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. A celebration of Betty's life will be held at the Lambeth Legion, Branch 501, 7097 Kilbourne Road, Lambeth on Sunday, November 27, 2016, from 2 - 5 pm.
