Rosella May (Leek) Rice, 93 of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Brightwood Center. Born on May 11, 1927 in Middlebourne, WV a daughter of the late Friend and Virginia (Myers) Leek. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ray Rice on June 18, 2011, five brothers, Charles Lesley, Homer Denzil, Russell William, Raymond Dale, James Leek, Sr., and three sisters, Madaline Leek, Pauline Midcap, and Roxie Mercer. Rosella was Christian by faith and a homemaker. In her spare time she had a love for sewing, making quilts, and cooking. She loved her family more than anything. Christmas Eve morning at her house was what her grandchildren always looked forward too. She is survived by her son, Del (Becky) Rice of Wellsburg, WV; three grandchildren, Cody Rice and fiancé Elizabeth McDaniel , Alyssa Rice and fiancé Jon Griffin, and Donnie (Julie) Wokutch; along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd from 5:00 P.M. until time of services at 7:00 P.M. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV with Elder Joy Leasure officiating. Interment will follow privately in Green Lawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
