BESSIE LEE BOWLES DEAD

Bessie Lee Bowles, wife of C. P. Bowles of Dallas, Texas, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Sam Humphries, on South Grant, Saturday afternoon at the early age of 20 years. Mrs. Bowles was taken ill with an attack of sciatic rheumatism the 19th of last August out of which other complications developed and caused her death. Two months ago she was brought from her home in Dallas, Texas to Liberal where she could receive the care of her sister, Mrs. Sam Humphries, and her mother who came from Carmish, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Bowles is the youngest of 11 children and leaves a husband, mother, five brothers and three sisters to mourn her early departure of this.

Mr. Bowles, who arrived from Dallas Monday in company with Mrs. Humphries and mother, accompanied the remains to Carnish, Oklahoma, yesterday, where interment will be made. The S. A. Miller Under Co. had charge of the remains.
