Elza E. Prather, died, December 26, 1919, at the hospital in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of about 45. He was injured Christmas day after falling under the wheels of a moving train on his way to visit his brother N. A. Prather of Olathe.
He was married to Lucy Myrtle Flemming, April 17, 1902, and four children born.
He leaves four children, who are living with their mothers brother in Great Bend, Kansas.
Remains were taken to Olathe, Kansas, and burial was in Wellsville, Kansas.
