Mr. DiLisio served in the Italian Army during World War II. He was a proud employee of Ford Motor Co. with 35 years of service. He was an avid gardener. He was a member of Club Pacentro and UAW Local 400.
He is survived by his wife, Giuseppa; children, Lorenzo, Pasquale (Linda), Ignazio and David (Andrea); 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and sister, Amalia Mucci.
He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Barbara; and brother-in-law, Alex.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 14085 14 Mile Road (between Schoenherr and Hayes roads), Sterling Heights. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
Visitation is 4-9 p.m. today and 2-9 p.m. Wednesday, with a 6 p.m. rosary recital, at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, 36900 Schoenherr Road (at Metropolitan Parkway), Sterling Heights. Additional visitation is 10:30-11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
