Rebecca R. Eastwood, 43 of Grand Island, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 5, 2021 in Grand Island.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Jacobsen-Greenway-Dietz Funeral Home in St. Paul. Burial will be in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Elba, Nebraska. Jacobsen-Greenway-Dietz Funeral Home
is in charge of the arrangements.

Rebecca was born on March 22, 1977 to Robert & Mary Rose Gadsby in Omaha, Nebraska. She grew up in and around the Grand Island area. She was united in marriage to Joe Eastwood on November 17, 2005. Rebecca enjoyed decorating, traveling and riding motorcycles with her husband. She collected magnets from the various places they traveled. She loved making memories with her family through crafts, projects, holidays, and taking pictures. Rebecca enjoyed donating her time to charities for children & the elderly. She was a health care nurse for several years. Her greatest enjoyment in life was being with her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Joe Eastwood of Grand Island; sons, Justin Eastwood of Grand Island, Derrick Gadsby (Katherine) of Ord, Micheal Eastwood (Alexis) of Wahoo; daughters, Crystal Van Winkle (Cody) of Dannebrog, Sheree Medlock of Grand Island, Zaria Medlock (Nicholas Paterson) of Grand Island, and Brittney Eastwood of St. Libory; grandchildren, Prometheus, Antonio, Vernon, MaryLynn, Shane, Gracelyn, Evelyn, Egan, Mavis, Tommy, Nevaeh, and 1 granddaughter on the way.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Mary Rose Gadsby.
