FARMINGTON -- Doyle Lyndon Childres, 75, of Farmington died Oct. 15, 2007, at his home. He was born Sept. 9, 1932, in Ferris, Texas, to Leonard Pascal and Ruby Myrtle Smith Childres. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greenland. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Childres of the home; one son, Mark Emerson Childres of Prairie Grove; two stepsons, John Henry Thomas of Farmington and William Patrick Moore of Fayetteville; one stepdaughter, Mary Jo Elliott of Fayetteville, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Maurice Childres of Dallas; one sister, Margie Miller of Farris, Texas.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, www.luginbuel.com. Buddy Stockton will officiate. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery.
