Born December 6, 1953 (crowned queen the same year as Elizabeth II of England); Graduated from Southwestern/Rhodes College with a BA in 1975.

Involved with the saving and first renovation of the Orpheum Theatre, 1976-1987, organist and archivist for those years, much-photographed and interviewed in relation to the Orpheum. Played the Wurlitzer organ on many occasions.

Bartender/Actor Circuit Playhouse/Playhouse on the Square for fourteen seasons in the 1970s-1980s.

Founding board member of Memphis Pride, Inc., serving as co-chair in 1994 and 1995 and actively involved in many Gay/Lesbian Pride celebrations beginning in 1980.

Founding board member and benefactor of the Memphis Gay and Lesbian Community Center (OUTMemphis). Created its Roll of Honor.

Columnist and contributor to Gaze newspaper and the Triangle Journal News since the mid-1980s until their demise. Contributor to Focus Magazine.

Volunteer docent with the Mallory-Neely House, volunteer for WKNO and WONDERS, docent at Mallory-Neely House, Elmwood Cemetery (Elmwood Players) Calvary Episcopal Church, and a perennial Father Christmas for several organizations.

Donor of artifacts to Mallory-Neely House, Woodruff-Fontaine House, Rhodes College, History Department at the Hooks Central Library, U of M Special Collections, Museum of Science and History (Pink Palace), Orpheum theatre.

Collections donated include the Memphis Movie Theatres Collection at the Barret Library, Rhodes College; Memphis Pride collection at MOSH (Pink Palace); GLBT collection in the Memphis Room of the Memphis Public Library and Information Center; Personal GLBT Collection in Special Collections, McWhirter Library, University of Memphis.

A square dancer, contra dancer and waltzer who loved all three forms equally; a contributor to Find A Grave and responsible for over 1000 memorials for family members, friends and others.

Never forgot a slight but always remembered a kindness.

A proud gay man who did his part to record and enhance the lives of gay men, trans persons and lesbians in Memphis, TN.
