OBITUARY RECORD- CARRIE MAY GEARY
THE ENTERPRISE- February 1, 1951.
CARRIE MAY GEARY DIED IN BEATRICE
Native of Washington County. Daughter of Pioneers.
Carrie May Geary, daughter of the late Daniel and Eliza Geary was born August 6, 1871, and passed away at a hospital in Beatrice, Nebraska January 25, 1951. On November 17 she fell, breaking her hip, but had almost entirely recovered when she suffered a heart attack. She lived in Washington and Burt Counties most of her life. Her sister, Grace, passed away 17 years ago, and at this time Carrie went to live with her sister, Mrs. Lizzie Richards and Mr. Richards at Beatrice, Nebraska.

Funeral services were held for her at the Herman Mortuary, Beatrice, Nebraska at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27. Dr. Alva Clark was in charge. Burial was in the New England Cemetery Sunday afternoon with graveside service conducted by Robert Wigert.

Mr. and Mrs. Richards of Beatrice and Mr. Haddie Geary of Innman attended the service at New England Cemetery. Other relatives present were Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Geary and Donald of Craig, Nebraska and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Geary and children.

Carried May Geary, daughter of Daniel and Eliza Bosworth Geary, was born northwest of Herman, Washington County, Nebraska August 6, 1871.

She lived in Washington and Burt Counties until moving to Beatrice in February, 1934.

She was injured in a fall November 17, 1950, and was making a nice recovery until a recurrence of an old ailment. She suddenly passed away Tuesday morning, January 25, 1951.

She is survived by four nephews and one niece.
