Victor C. Dinkel, 72, Independence, MO, passed away October 6, 2006 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday, October 9, 2006 at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 3736 S. Lee's Summit Road, Independence, MO 64055. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at the church, with cremation to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Catholic Church Building Fund.

Vic was born September 4, 1934 in Wakeeney, KS.

He was a Residential Realtor for over 30 years and a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church. He enjoyed family picnics, cookouts, and restoring historic Mustangs.

Survivors include: his wife, Barbara Dinkel; son and daughter-in-law, Douglas & Sara Dinkel, Leawood, KS; daughter and son-in-law, Vici & Jerry Hughes, Warrensburg, MO; and daughter, Tracy Dinkel, Kansas City, MO. He is further survived by two sisters, one brother, six grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
