Brubacher, Barbara Edna Elizabeth (nee Dickson) Suddenly at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Survived by her loving husband Russell with whom she shared 57 years. She is the youngest daughter of Maurice Fredrick Dickson and Edythe (nee Tilton).


She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.


Although she worked most of her life, she made a happy home for her family until she retired as Business Administrator of St. Paul´s College at the University of Waterloo. She was a staunch Anglican, and in her earlier years was active in the life of the Church of the Holy Saviour in Waterloo.


During her business years she took pleasure in being a member of a professional womens organization called Pilot International, originating in the USA. She was a past president.


She is predeceased by her parents, her sisters Phyliss Peterson of California, Shirley Cummings of Goderich, brother J. Harry Dickson of Cornwall and first husband Arthur MacFarlane Pittman (1947).


Visitation will be held at Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre in Cambridge on Sunday, April 11, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.


Funeral service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 2 p.m..
