Lillian F. Lasseter, 72, Spring Hill, KS, died Saturday, December 21, 1996, at her home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 26, at Grace United Methodist Church, 520 S. Harrison, Olathe, KS; private burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Stanley, KS.

Visitation will be 12 noon-2 p.m. prior to the service Thursday, at the church. The family suggests donations to the Salvation Army in her memory, 420 E. Santa Fe, Olathe, KS 66061.

Mrs. Lasseter was born September 14, 1924, in Lakeview, MI, the daughter of Kenneth and Sophia Johnson.

On April 27, 1946, she married James V. Lasseter, in Roseville, MI. They moved to Olathe in 1958. Mrs. Lasseter worked in the Olathe Public Schools from 1970 to 1984. She graduated from Olathe High School through continuing education and attended Johnson County Community College. She was active in the Grace United Methodist Church, the Salvation Army and the Harmony Homemakers Exten sion Club. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Lasseter Reivich; a sister, Connie Itoney; and three brothers, Allen Johnson, Kenneth Johnson and James Johnson. She leaves behind her husband of 50 years, James, of the home; four sons, Richa rd Lasseter, Reston, VA, James Lasseter, Salina, KS, Jerry Lasseter, Olathe, KS, and Dean Lasseter, Atchison, KS; two brothers, Alfred Johnson, Montgomery, MI, and Donald Johnson, Detroit, MI; and her sister, Mary Curley, Livonia, MI.
