Anna Palen Zook
Mrs. Anna Zook, 77, of Fountainview Terrace Nursing Home, died there Sunday, Oct. 5, at 1:10 pm following an illness of three years. She was born July 15, 1903, in Starke County, Ind., to Arthur and Julie (Hayes) Palen and had lived here most of her life. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church and the VFW, Moose and Eagle Auxiliaries. She was married to Orval N. Zook who died Aug. 3, 1963. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Bunch of LaPorte and Mrs. Leora Clark of Columbia, Mo., and one brother, Roland D. Palen of LaPorte. Four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Graveside services will be 11 am Wednesday at Patton Cemetery with Dr. Paul W. Murray officiating.
