Doran Jay Margheim, 65, died February 9, 2021, in Salina surrounded by his loved ones. Doran was born September 7, 1955, in Hoisington, to Rudolph and Martha (Brack) Margheim. Doran married Cynthia (Ferguson) November 1980, in Hoisington, and were later divorced.

Doran, a lifetime resident of Hoisington, was a long time, devoted driller for L.D. Drilling. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, and the Emmanuel Brotherhood, Hoisington.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronald Margheim.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2021, at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, with Ron Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Hoisington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, February 14, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 -6:00 p.m., at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society, in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, PO Box 146, Salina, KS 67544.
