"WOMAN IS KILLED WHEN REMOVING A SHOT GUN

Sylvia Ferrenberg was Sweeping Under Table When She Found Gun Which Was Discharged.

Mrs. Sylvia Ferrenberg, aged 20, wife of Truman Ferrenberg, was accidentally killed at her home, near Hege, Jennings county this morning. A gun lying under a table, was discharged, resulting in instant death.
Mrs. Ferrenberg was sweeping a room in her home and when she started to sweep under a table she noticed a gun lying on the floor. The weapon was discharged when she attempted to move it.
Several relatives of Mrs. Ferrenberg live in the Elizabethtown neighborhood and she was widely known in Bartholomew county. Her maiden name was Crippen. She had been married only two or three months."
