Born June 27, 1949, in Clear Creek, WV, daughter of the late Oliss Andrew Bailey and Ada Williams Bailey; married to Ulysses McKinley Laxton, Jr. for 54 years.
A member of Christ Anointed Pentecostal Church.
Also survived by sons, James M. Laxton (Cindy), Ulysses “Buddy” A. Laxton, Alvin D. Laxton (Amy) and Chris Laxton (Dianna); daughter, Barbara A. Hacker (Harvey); two brothers, Leonard Bailey and three sisters, Edith Pearl Bailey Taylor, Linda Bailey Toney, and Helen Bailey Blevins; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by a son, Joseph Joel Laxton (25 Oct 1971 – 12 Jul 2010); and fifteen brothers and sisters.
