The family requests visitation be held Monday, February 22, 2021 at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
Due to Covid restrictions, the family requests that visitation be come and go, so that all will have an opportunity to pay their respects. Social distancing and masks are required.
Rev. Morace, 97, formerly of Deville, Louisiana passed from this life, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in Sacramento, California.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He served as a Church of God Minister in Louisiana, Florida, Kansas, California, Alaska, and Hawaii. He also served as President of Ministerial Associations in Louisiana, Indiana and Kansas and on many National Church Boards and committees. Though Dr. Morace traveled throughout the world as a Minister for the Church of God, he always thought of Central Louisiana was his home and where he belonged. He treasured his relationships with family, neighbors and friends and often said “I never left home in my Heart”.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Dorothy Deville Morace; brothers; Forest, Jewel, Lionel, Donald and Raymond, Jimmie Dale; sisters Avis and Maizie
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 73 years Doris Brazzell Morace; his sons Larry Dale Morace and wife Charlotte Knabel, and Melvin Ferrell Morace and wife Elena Segura; three Grandchildren James Morace, Nathan Morace and Natalie Morace; one great granddaughter, Esther Morace; sister Odessa M. McGraw and a host of other family members and friends
