COLD BROOK - Alan L. Sheppard, 42, of Cold Brook R.D., died unexpectedly June 13, 1955, in the home of Franklin Bunce in the Town of Ohio.
He was born in the Town of Norway Aug. 20, 1912, son of Charles Edward and Anna Cynthia Bunce Sheppard.
He married Marjorie A. Croniser Sept. 7, 1933.
He was last employed at McVoy Garage in Poland.
Besides his wife, he leaves five sons, Robert, Teddy, Larry, Lyle and Charles; three daughters, Loretta, Gale and Sharon, all at home; his parents, his grandmother, Mrs. Ella Sheppard, Town of Norway; three brothers, George, Charles and Gerald, all of the Town of Ohio and a sister, Mrs. Louis Christman, Middleville.
Their daughter Barbara Joan Sheppard died in 1940.
The funeral will be tomorrow from the Autenrith Funeral Home, Newport, the Rev. Frank Smith, Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Gray Cemetery.
