Volenna Harris Jones, 94, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
A graveside will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Dziadul officiating at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Volenna was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Charlie Oscar and Lucille Elder Harris. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Felton Jones, Sr.
She was a homemaker and a member of Napier Ave. Church of God. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her children; Gina Wehe (Geoff) of Greensboro, NC, George “Bud” F. Jones, Jr. and Mike Jones both of Macon, six grandchildren; Chris, Jonathan, Jenny, Betsy, Emily and John, nine great grandchildren; Joseph, Casen, Hayden, Ceara, Jadie Ruth, Naomi, Isaiah, Eden and Hope and several nieces and nephews.
