Mrs. Elizabeth Warren Dead.
Elizabeth Young was born at Franklin, Ind., on April 12, 1842, shortly after which date her family removed to Warrensburg, Missouri, and later to a farm near Wakarusa, Kansas, where she spent the remainder of her girlhood days. On April 9, 1863, she was married to Dwight Ferry and to this union were born four children, of whom only Mrs. Charles [Dora] Loveland survives. In 1868, Mr. Ferry took advantage of his homestead privilege and filed upon a claim 3 miles south of Eskridge. In 1885 they moved to Eskridge where Mr. Ferry died in 1902. In 1904 Mrs. Ferry was married to John A. Warren, and they lived on a farm near Huntsville, [Madison Co] Arkansas where in 1916 Mr. Warren died and Mrs. Warren came here to be with her daughter, Mrs. Charles Loveland, with whom she has since lived.
She has been a patient and uncomplaining sufferer and so much appreciated the tender and constant care given her during the past three weeks. On Sunday morning, July 23, 1922, at 8 o'clock, she was released from her suffering by Him who has said, "Come Unto Me, and I will give you rest."
She leaves to mourn a daughter, Mrs. Charles [Dora] Loveland and husband; two grandchildren, Glen and Arlene Loveland; one great-grandchild, Glen Loveland, Junior; all of Eskridge; three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Miller, Mrs. Clara Johnson and Mrs. Jennie Jester; three brothers, Will, James and Sherman Young and a host of friends.
