Victor married Mary Elvira Ferguson, 22 December 1918, in Smith County, Texas. They raised five children in Lindale, Texas, where Victor worked in the trucking industry. Victor Ford died of heart failure, 11 August 1958, aged 59, at the Medical Center Hospital in Tyler, Texas, and was buried with his wife at Bethesda Cemetery in Smith County, Texas.
