Jessie Margaret Kipple was the second child of George Grant and Grace (Burkett) Knipple (aka Kipple in Florida) Jessie was born in Altoona 10 February 1898. She married Julian E. Fletcher on 25 December 1911 in Florida. In the 1920 census the Fletcher family was living in Magdalene Precinct in Hillsborough County Florida. Jessie and Julian had two children, S. Cedric Julian Fletcher, born 10 Nov 1913 and Doris Pleasant Fletcher, born 1 Feb 1916. By the time the 1930 census was taken Jessie was divorced. I speculate that they divorced sometime before 1927 because their divorce does not appear on the online records for Florida that begin in 1927. Jessie took care of her mother until she died in 1959 and then Jessie moved to Oregon. In 1961, Jessie’s brother obituary mentions that she was living in Oregon. The Social Security Death Index lists Jessie M Fletcher died 1967 in Oregon City, Clackamus County, Oregon. Jessie’s son Cedric died in 1985 in Carson City NV
