Marguerite came to Quebec as a Filles du Roi on "La Nouvelle France", arriving on 31 July 1670. She married (1) Mathieu Faille on 30 September 1670, in Notre-Dame-de-Montréal. They are the parents of the following (verified with PRDH):

On 4 September 1690, Mathieu Faye and Marguerite Moreau were taken prisoner by the Iroquois and kept in captivity. After not hearing from them for about three years, the notary Antoine Adhémar proceeded to do an inventory of their property (on 6 October 1693). At some point after this inventory was notarized, Mathieu and Marguerite were released from their captivity.

She married (2) Jean Lefort dit Prairie (son of Isaac Lefort and Anne Thibault) on 21 November 1696, in La Prairie, Quebec. They are the parents of the following (verified with PRDH):
