Sylvia M. Boyce, 78, of Fredericksburg went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.
Sylvia was a nurse in the Fredericksburg area for many years. She retired from Pratt Medical Center after 48 years and worked for numerous other doctors in the area. Sylvia loved her family more than anything! Her neighbors were the best of friends, all the way to her passing. Sylvia never met a stranger. She was a true friend to all that knew her. Spending time with Sylvia was a true pleasure.
Survivors include her children, Steve Mason (April), Julie Kishpaugh (Warren) and Paula Thurston (Jeff); 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister Cynthia Wright (Otto) and their four children; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Mason.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 19 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
