Irene Zelma Lusk-Anderson, age 89, of Rt. 4, P.O. Box 72, Bluefield, W.Va., passed away Monday night, April 15, 2013, after a long illness, at Mary Ellen's Adult Care on the Athens Road, Princeton, W.Va. Irene has left this world to live forever with her Lord and Savior. Born July 16, 1923 in North Wilkesboro, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Winfred Mastin Hall and Maude Frances Shumate Hall. She was a member of the Sweet Home Baptist Church, Princeton, W.Va. She was a homemaker, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a resident of Bluefield for the past 10 years, and was a former resident of Algoma and Worth in McDowell County. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Emmer T. Lusk; four sisters, Mabel Byrd, Masie Burks, Ruth Dean, and Elsie Watkins, also one brother, Woodrow Furches Hall. She leaves to cherish her memory: Her husband of 39 years, Harry Anderson of Bluefield, W.Va.; her children, James Owen Lusk of Bluewell, W.Va., Judie Hatfield and husband Denver of Marlington, W.Va., Peggy Belcher and husband Pastor Thurman Belcher of Princeton, W.Va., Ronnie J. Lusk and wife Jo Ann of Bluefield, W.Va.; one sister, Claudine Mitchem and husband Harry of Bluefield, W.Va.; two stepsons, Johnny Anderson and wife Teresa of Crumpler, W.Va., Harry Paul Anderson and wife Tina of Baton Rouge, La.; eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 18, 2013, at 12:00 noon, at the Sweet Home Baptist Church, 121 Willow Brook Road, Princeton, W.Va. with Pastor Thurman Belcher and Pastor Kevin Belcher officiating. Entombment will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Bluewell, W.Va
