Ruby Ruth LeBlanc Koehler, a bookkeeper with Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, died on Saturday afternoon, October 10, 1987 at 5:45 o'clock at Touro Infirmary after a long courageous battle against cancer. She was 65.
She was the mother of Paul D. Koehler, of Cheyenne, Wyoming; sister of Clifford LeBlanc Jr., of Metairie, Louisiana; daughter of the late Agnes Elizabeth Duet LeBlanc and Clifford Joseph LeBlanc Sr.; grandmother of Janel C. Koehler and Todd D. Koehler, of Cheyenne; adored aunt of Kathryn L. Richard, Kenneth G. LeBlanc, David P. LeBlanc, and Cynthia L. Martinez; beloved aunt of four grandnieces and two grandnephews. Grandniece of Odette Marie LeBlanc Lampley and Ada LeBlanc Callahan.
She was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for 40 years, a graduate of Soule' Business College and of Sophie B. Wright High School. She was formerly employed as a bookkeeper with Delta Life Insurance Co. for 30 years. She was a lively, fun-loving life-of-the-party. She brought joy to everyone who knew her. She will be missed.
She is survived by her son, her brother, two grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, two grandaunts, and several cousins.

Funeral services on Tuesday, 13 October 1987, at 9 a.m. at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, 4127 S. Claiborne Ave. followed at 11 o'clock by a Mass of Christian Burial from St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 631 State Street.
Interment in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
