Death Claims Clyde Biddle Following Three Year Illness
Clyde Biddle, retired Limestone Township farmer, died at the home of his son Russel Biddle, of near Turbotville, Saturday, January 28, 1939. He was aged 76 years, eight months and 28 days.
A native of Union County, Mr. Biddle was engaged at farming in Limestone Township until three years ago, when he retired due to failing health. Death was due to gangrene. His wife died three years ago.
Surviving were his son, six grandchildren and two great grand children.
Funeral services were held at the home of his son with the Reverend Mr. Fowler, pastor of the Turbotville Lutheran Church officiating.
Burial was made at the Strawberry Ridge Cemetery.
