Mary Ann was a special needs person that depended upon others for most things in her life. She had just turned 22 when her mother died, and she went to live with one of her older sisters. Mary Ann had been fortunate enough to travel all over the United States, and multiple foreign countries and islands. She had been on several cruises, and was planning a trip to a few of her ancestral homes of Ireland and Scotland when she left us so suddenly. In the last few years of her life she had taken up horse back riding, and discovered she was a descendant of multiple Patriots of the American Revolution. She loved participating in Daughters of American Revolution (DAR) activities with her sister.
