Funeral services for Mrs. Millie M. Lanterman of 35 Clinton Street were held Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home, 63 High Street. The Rev. Eldridge T. Holland, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Newton officiated. Burial was in Baleville Cemetery. Mrs. Lanterman died Saturday in Newton Memorial Hospital. she was born in Starlight, Pa., 50 years ago and had lived here for 20 years. She leaves her husband, Ernest Lanterman Jr.; a son, Gary and two daughters, Miss Gail and Miss Lori, all at home; her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Simon Jennings of Harpersville, NY; six brothers, Edward of Waterville, NY, Howard of Sidney Center, NY, Russell of Harpersville, NY, Blake of Roscoe, NY, Albert of Binghamton, NY, and Donovan of Harvard, NY; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Brigham of Middletown, NY and Mrs. Nancy Green of Brighton, NY and one grandchild.
