Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Crestwood Chapel for Frances Cooper Jordan, 88, of Rainbow City, who died May 10, 2015. Rev. Sherri Reynolds will officiate. Entombment will follow at Crestwood Mausoleum. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Frances Cooper Jordan was born on April 29, 1927, in Birmingham, Ala., to Eulah Jo and Dr. George Frederick Cooper. Dr. Cooper was a Methodist minister. She graduated from Phillips High School in Birmingham and Auburn University. She married Bill Jordan of Gadsden on April 20, 1957. She was an accomplished artist and co-owned and worked with her husband Bill at Jordan Office Supply on Broad Street in Gadsden for over 35 years. She was a longtime member of Christ Central United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Jordan is survived by her husband, Bill Jordan; daughters, Jan Jordan (Jim) Harralson, Parkey Jordan (Dan) Haggman; grandson, Jacob "Jake" William Haggman; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Central United Methodist Church, Rainbow City, Ala.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at Crestwood Funeral Home, 2209 East Broad St., Gadsden, AL.
