Princess Maria Czartoryska, by marriage Herzogin Ludwig von Württemberg, was a Polish noblewoman, writer, musician and philanthropist. She was a daughter of Prince Adam Kazimierz Czartoryski and Countess Isabella von Flemming. She was married in 1784 to Herzog Ludwig von Württemberg, who became the Hetman of the Lithuanian Army in the 1792 war against Russia. They were divorced in 1793 when his betrayal of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth became known. Their only son, Herzogin Adam von Württemberg, remained in the custody of his father. Following the November Uprising Maria moved to Sieniawa, then in Galicia. She moved to Paris in 1837, where she lived with her brother, Adam Jerzy Czartoryski.
