David A. Zehr, 65, of Morton, IL died at 12:25 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2007 at Morton Terrace Care Center. He was born March 14, 1942 in Morton, IL to Roy C. and Opal Smith Zehr.
He married Sue Ondrey in 1961 in Groveland, IL.
Surviving are two sons, Stan (and Royce) Zehr and Danny Zehr, both of Eureka, IL; one daughter, Deanna (and Chuck) Davidson of Eureka, IL; seven grandchildren and one brother, Roger Zehr of West Palm Beach, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
David was employed as a truck driver for Zehr Trucking for 20 years and last worked as a mechanic for Velde Ford. He then moved to Florida and worked for Fisher Cadillac in Stuart, FL, retiring in 2002.
He was a member of the Sail Fish Club in Stuart, FL.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22 at Ludwig Mortuary in Morton with Pastor Doane Brubaker officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Tremont, IL.
