Mr. Billy "Goat" Wayne Hodgson, age 62, of Harmony, NC passed away Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 30, 1945 in Rowan County the son of the late Arzie Winson Hodgson and the late Anna Louise Wooten Hodgson.
Mr. Hodgson attended Rowan County Schools and was a Veteran of the US Marine Corps. He worked for National Starch for 38 years in maintenance and he was of the Protestant Faith. Enjoyed Barbequing for Churches and company parties and October fest, also enjoyed Racing and Camping.
Survivors include his son Billy Wayne Hodgson, Jr. and wife Dalinda of Taylorsville, daughters Debra Sells of Salisbury, Tammy Kimrey of Harmony, Jennifer Hodgson of Salisbury, brothers Richard Hodgson and wife Trish of Spring Lake, NC and Sister Jean Morgan and husband Herman of Sanford. Grandchildren Ashley and Darrice Sells, Danielle, Cody and Marissa Kimrey, and Jonathan, Stephanie, Tiffany, and Ashley Hodgson.
Service: 12:00 Noon Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at James C. Lyerly Chapel with Rev. Brad Cunningham officiating. Following the Burial will be in Salisbury National Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites conducted by the Rowan County Honor Guard. Visitation: 10:30-12:00 Noon Wednesday.
