William was first married to Ara Nitus Capers with whom Birdie Lee Thomas was born. To William and his second wife Cora Oma Stepp 4 children were born: Levada Thomas, Lucille Ellen Thomas, Houston Hubert Thomas and Lindsey Burton Thomas. William Burton Thomas was my (Carolyn Thomas Sorensen) Grand-Uncle.
I am told that Uncle Burton was exposed to mustard gas poisoning during WWI. Died of pneumonia.
