Tony Dean Colburn, 58, of Frankfort, died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Adena Regional Medical Center Emergency Room. He was born Saturday November 24, 1962 in Chillicothe, the son of Floyd and Dale Alberta Dyke Colburn. He is survived by his wife, the former Daisy Butcher whom he married on October 14, 2018.
Tony is also survived by his mother, Dale Alberta Colburn of Chillicothe, one son, Matthew Colburn of Clarksburg, one step-son, Tim Rapp of Frankfort, several grandchildren, one sister, Janet (Doug) Page of Chillicothe, five brothers, Danny (Roberta) Colburn of Clarksburg, Tom (Becky) Colburn of Bristow, VA, Robert (Karen) Colburn of Washington C.H., Steve (Debby) Colburn of Clarksburg and Chuck Colburn of Frankfort and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, PFC Gavin Colburn, one step-son, Michael Rapp and his father, Floyd Colburn.
Tony worked in construction and was a truck driver for several years. He loved spending time with his family and friends, His grandson Grainger was definitely "Papaw's Boy".
A private family service will be held at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Paster Dan Bennett officiating. A public graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 2:15 p.m. in Brown's Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg with Pastor Dan Bennett officiating. All in attendance will need to wear facial coverings and socially distance.
