One month previous to the child's birth, the mother was ill with smallpox which affliction indirectly caused the death of her infant daughter.
The infant is survived by its parents and one brother, C.C. Buhr.
The funeral was held at the family residence.
The interment was made in the Brunk cemetery, ten miles south of the city.
