Born in Butler Dec 1, 1928, he was the son of Camille and Alice Leroy Hansotte.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was an electrician for 54 years and worked out of Local 10.
Mr. Hansotte was a member of St Michaels Roman Catholic Church, the VFW Post 249, the French and Belgium Club, and the North Pittsburgh Chisel and Chips.
Surviving are his wife, Norma Carmody Hansotte, whom he married Dec 30, 1953; two sons, Richard R. Hansotte Jr of Cassanova, VA, and Kevin P. Hansotte of Butler; two daughters, Deborah Bergman, of Perrysville and Marcie Reinheimer of Sarver; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Burial will be at St. Michaels Cemetary.
