Mrs. Lydia “Ruth” Tucker, age 91 of Centre passed away Monday January 03 at Cherokee Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Tuesday at the Towncreek Cemetery in Rainsville with Mr. Larry Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth (Joan) Tucker, Temple, GA; 7 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren; Many Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Mrs. Tucker was the daughter of the late Lumas and Lura Harrison Payne. She was a seamstress and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Earl Tucker, Sr.; Son, Aubrey Earl Tucker, Jr.; 5 Brothers and 4 Sisters. Pallbearers include Kevin Tucker, Mark Tucker, Tracy Hembric, Tim Sauls, and Clinton Bell
