Arvilla Lois (Lackore) Larson, 83, passed away on April 8, 2005 at the Scottsdale Infinia. She was born in Hayfield, Iowa on September 17, 1921 and was voted Miss Hayfield for 1938. She was a resident of Phoenix, AZ since 1960 and last worked as a book-keeper for the Phoenix Giants until 1980. She is survived by her husband Alvin, whom she married in 1940, son Roger, brothers, Chuck and Marvin, three grandchildren, Lisa, Ryan and Brad, and four great-grandchildren, Chais, Angelina, Noah and Tyler. She was an exceptional woman of great character and strength. She was a devoted wife, caring mother, and loving grandmother to her entire family. Her life will be celebrated during the funeral service at Green Acres in Scottsdale on Monday, April 18, at 10:00 am. There will be a viewing on Sunday, April 17, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
