2LT Zygmunt Bogdan Czajkowski, Polish citizen, was the son of Jan Czajkowski and Michalina Czajkowska née Zielińska. Family think he was born on 21 January 1902.


Czajkowski graduated from a junior high school in Łódź in 1927 and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Warsaw in 1934 and and the a sanitary training for reserve forces in 1935. He was appointed second lieutenant on 1 January 1936 and assigned to the 74th Infantry Regiment, where he completed reserve exercises as a junior doctor in 1938.


In September 1939, when first Nazi Germany, and then its ally the Soviet Union attacked Poland, Czajkowski in the 12th Infantry Division.


Zygmunt Bogdan Czajkowski was a physician.
