Mrs. Mary Fridley died at her home in Buffalo Sunday evening at 8:30 o'clock, after an illness of two weeks duration.
She was born Nov. 15, 1822, in N.Car., and was at the time of her death 88 years, 11 months and 16 days old. On Oct. 11, 1838 she was united in marriage to Henry H. Fridley, who preceded her in death in the year 1899. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Buffalo and had a host of friends in that vicinity.
In the year 1840 she came to Davenport and had made her home in this vicinity ever since. One son, William Crawford, survives.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 from the home, with services at the Methodist Church in Buffalo. Interment will be made in Blue Grass Cemetery.
