FUNERAL OF EDWARD BELKNAP
Edward Belknap, who met a tragic death in the Mt. Aarat mine at Carterville Thursday, was buried in Park Cemetery yesterday. The funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of the dead man's mother on East 3rd street and were conducted by Rev. W. C. Hill, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South of Carthage.
The choir of the Carterville Methodist Episcopal Church, South sang three hymns at the services and at the grave the Modern Woodmen of America of Carterville had charge of the services. The lodge attended as a body.
