John Rueben Jackson 1, was a most colorful man, loved by everyone who came in contact with him. Especially loved and missed by his children, John Jr., Sharyn, Phillip, Carole, Paula, and David, and adopted son Jeffery. Dad gave freely of his time for that is all he had to give, never rich, by the means of money, but rich in that his friends all loved him, and remember him fondly. Dad loved to dance, sing, and have a good time, the fourth of July was always especially special because Dad made room for all his nieces and nephews for a fun day of swimming, fireworks, and ice cream. Dad always made us feel special, the drive-in Movies, or pop corn balls at Halloween will always be a special memory. This man is adored by his Daughters and sons whom everyday still find it hard to believe he is gone. I know he is watching over his beloved grandsons in Heaven so that Paula and John Jr. may survive on earth. A wonderful father I miss everyday.

I would like to thank Edda M. for sponsoring a man who never had anything materially in life, but wealthy in his childrens love. He would be amazed!
